On the evening of May 23, a cultural and entertainment event entitled “Youth Evening”, dedicated to Youth Day of Tajikistan, was held in the city of Kulob, with the active participation of the staff, faculty members, and students of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki.







At the extended meeting of the Department of Linguistics and Comparative Typology of the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, the scientific dissertation of the department’s doctoral candidate Sharifkhoja Saodat Amirkhoja on the topic “The Proverbial Genre in Linguistics: Structure and Content Aspects (Based on Structurally Different Languages)” was discussed.
In a friendly football tournament among government bodies, organizations, and institutions of the city of Kulob, dedicated to World Football Day, the team of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki actively participated and secured third place. First place was awarded to the Directorate of the Operational Group of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Kulob region, while second place went to the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the cities and districts of the Kulob region.
Today, on May 23, 2026, at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, a collective morning exercise session was held in celebration of Youth Day of Tajikistan and within the framework of World Football Day observances, with the participation of the university administration, faculty members, and students. The event took place in a spirit of patriotism and youth empowerment and was aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, developing sports culture, and strengthening the physical and moral potential of young people.
At Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki, a ceremony honoring the members of the university’s Olympiad team was held by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports of Khatlon Region within the framework of Youth Day of Tajikistan and World Football Day. The event served as a logical continuation of the cultural and entertainment program dedicated to Youth Day of Tajikistan and World Football Day held at the university.
On May 22, 2026, a grand cultural and entertainment event dedicated to Youth Day of Tajikistan and World Football Day was held with special magnificence at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. The event was attended by the university rector, Professor Safarzoda Munir Vatan, vice-rectors, heads of departments and divisions, faculty deans, as well as a large number of lecturers and students.
On May 20, 2026, Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki hosted a scientific and theoretical conference entitled “Youth in the Light of the Leader of the Nation’s Youth-Oriented Policy”, dedicated to May 23 — Youth Day of Tajikistan, with the participation of the university’s lecturers and students.
As part of the mutually beneficial scientific and methodological cooperation among the country’s higher educational institutions, another scientific and educational initiative has been implemented at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. At the invitation of the university administration, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Language History and Typology at the Tajik National University, Davlatbek Khojaev, is delivering a series of lectures for lecturers and students of the Faculty of Tajik Philology and Journalism.
Today, on May 20, 2026, a cultural event dedicated to the International Day of Families, annually celebrated on May 15, was held at the “Sitora” Kindergarten of Kulob State University named after A. Rudaki with the participation of parents of the children. The event took place in a festive atmosphere, where the children demonstrated their talents through theatrical performances, poetry recitations, and cultural presentations.
