Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki hosted a scientific and theoretical conference entitled “Dialogue of Civilizations and Its Importance in a Rapidly Changing World,” dedicated to the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations, observed annually on June 10.

On June 10, 2026, the concluding meeting of the University Administration was held at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki. During the meeting, key issues related to the educational, scientific, and organizational activities of the university were reviewed and discussed. The meeting was chaired by the Rector of the University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Munir Vatan Safarzoda, and attended by members of the administration.

On June 9, 2026, a meeting of the Department of Informatics Teaching Methodology of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki was held to discuss the dissertation of PhD candidate Qurbonzoda Nekruz Nurahmad entitled “Innovative Forms for Developing Professional Competencies of Information Technology Teachers in General Secondary Education Institutions within the Professional Development System.”

On June 2, 2026, a delegation of university faculty members and staff, led by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Ayubzoda Safar, participated online in a virtual information session organized by UI GreenMetric in cooperation with the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan for higher education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan.

A ceremonial event entitled “Goodbye, Kindergarten!” was held at the “Sitora” Kindergarten of Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki with the participation of graduating children of school-entry age. The event was dedicated to the completion of the first stage of education and upbringing and to the children’s first step toward school life. It was held in a warm and memorable atmosphere.

A scientific and theoretical seminar with the participation of faculty members was held at the Department of Software Engineering and Web Design of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics at Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki.

Today, May 28, 2026, Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki held a regular meeting of its Academic Council for the 2025–2026 academic year under the chairmanship of the Rector of the University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Safarzoda Munir Vatan. Members of the Council and representatives of the university’s academic and scientific structures participated in the meeting.
